Our stay at Maroudas Secret Garden was honestly one of the highlights of our holiday. From the moment we arrived, we felt so comfortable and welcomed. The place is beautiful, spotless and incredibly peaceful, with maximum privacy.

But what made our stay truly special was Megi. She is, without a doubt, the best host I have ever met. I’ve travelled quite a lot and stayed in many different places, but I have never met someone in hospitality who is so genuinely warm, kind and thoughtful. She was always there when we needed something, while still giving us complete privacy and space.

We truly loved our stay and would come back without thinking twice.

Newly built houses, with stylish and cosy interior, the most comfortable beds and fully equipped even with the coffee for the coffee machine.

We loved the fresh mornings on the veranda with a cup of coffee and the lazy evenings with a glass of wine or beer!

The beach of Sykia is just 5 minutes away by car and the village center, where you could enjoy the great Greek cuisine, is within walking distance.

The real treasure there, however, is the owner - Megi! It is unbelievable that a person like her still exists in this crazy world! You will see and feel her incredible hospitality and warmth from the first moment you get in touch with her! Her beauty is not limited to her looks, her soul is one of a saint!

You cannot get enough neither of the place, nor of this incredible woman.

It’s the house you’d love to have in the countryside. Beautiful, comfortable and fully equipped… all you need to bring is your swimsuit, your clothes and a good mood. Away from the traffic and bustle of the village, in the middle of nature, yet just a few steps from the centre of Sykia. 5–15 minutes from the most beautiful beaches of Sithonia. Megi and Dimitris are so hospitable that you truly feel at home. We’ll definitely see you again!!!! Thank you for everything!!! You are simply perfect!!!!

Το ωραιότερο κατάλυμα που έχουμε μείνει ποτέ. Είναι το σπίτι που θα ήθελες να έχεις στην εξοχή. Πανέμορφο, άνετο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο… το μόνο που χρειάζεται να πάρεις είναι το μαγιό, τα ρούχα σου και την καλή σου διάθεση. Έξω από την κίνηση και τη βαβούρα του χωριού, μέσα στη φύση και δυο βήματα από το κέντρο της Συκιάς. 5–15 λεπτά από τις ωραιότερες παραλίες της Σιθωνίας. Η Μέγκη και ο Δημήτρης είναι τόσο φιλόξενοι που νιώθεις πραγματικά σαν στο σπίτι σου. Θα τα ξαναπούμε σίγουρα!!!! Ευχαριστούμε για όλα!!! Είστε άψογοι!!!!

We had a wonderful holiday at “Marouda's Secret Garden”, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, comfort and exceptional hosts.

The house is in the village of Sykia, on Sithonia, about 3 km from Sykia beach, in a quiet area on the edge of the village. It’s the ideal place for anyone who wants to enjoy nature, away from the crowds, without being far from the beaches.

What impressed us most were the owners, Marouda and Dimitrios. After many years of holidays in Greece, I can say they are the most attentive, kind and caring hosts we have ever met. They are always ready to help, and their hospitality makes you feel more like a friend than just a tourist.

The apartment is spotlessly clean, spacious and decorated with great taste. The kitchen is fully equipped and goes far beyond what you usually find in holiday accommodation: induction hob, electric oven, kettle, coffee machine, dishes and utensils for anything you might want to cook. On top of that, the hosts provide tea, coffee, sugar, honey, olive oil, salt and various spices – small details that make a big difference.

We really appreciated the fast, stable Starlink internet, the Smart TV, hot water at all times, the spacious terrace, the large, beautifully kept garden and the parking space right next to the property.

The atmosphere is one of complete tranquillity. In the morning you wake up to birdsong, and in the evening you can enjoy the cool air and the peace, without the noise typical of busy resorts.

For us, this was much more than a place to sleep – it was the place where we truly felt at home. We will definitely be back, and we recommend it with complete confidence to anyone who wants an authentic, relaxing holiday in Sithonia.

Am petrecut o vacanță minunată la „Marouda's Secret Garden” și recomand această locație din toată inima tuturor celor care își doresc liniște, confort și gazde de excepție.

Locuința este situată în satul Sykia, pe brațul Sithonia, la aproximativ 3 km de plaja Sykia, într-o zonă liniștită, la marginea satului. Este locul ideal pentru cei care vor să se bucure de natură, departe de aglomerație, fără a fi departe de plaje.

Ceea ce ne-a impresionat cel mai mult au fost proprietarii, Marouda și Dimitrios. După mulți ani în care ne-am petrecut vacanțele în Grecia, pot spune că sunt cele mai atente, amabile și grijulii gazde pe care le-am întâlnit. Sunt mereu disponibili să ajute, iar ospitalitatea lor te face să te simți mai degrabă un prieten decât un simplu turist.

Apartamentul este impecabil de curat, spațios și amenajat cu foarte mult bun gust. Bucătăria este complet utilată și depășește cu mult ceea ce găsești, de obicei, într-o cazare de vacanță: plită cu inducție, cuptor electric, fierbător, aparat de cafea, veselă și ustensile pentru orice ai dori să gătești. În plus, gazdele pun la dispoziție ceai, cafea, zahăr, miere, ulei de măsline, sare și diverse condimente – mici detalii care fac o mare diferență.

Am apreciat foarte mult internetul Starlink, rapid și stabil, Smart TV-ul, apa caldă disponibilă permanent, terasa spațioasă, curtea mare și frumos îngrijită, precum și locul de parcare chiar lângă proprietate.

Atmosfera este una de liniște deplină. Dimineața te trezești în cântecul păsărilor, iar seara te poți bucura de răcoare și de pace, fără zgomotul specific stațiunilor aglomerate.

Pentru noi, această cazare a fost mult mai mult decât un loc în care am dormit – a fost locul în care ne-am simțit cu adevărat ca acasă. Cu siguranță vom reveni și o recomandăm cu toată încrederea tuturor celor care își doresc o vacanță autentică și relaxantă în Sithonia.

The room was brand new, spotless and fully equipped, with lovely, carefully designed spaces. Having two rooms makes it ideal for families with children, even teenagers, as it offers comfort and much-needed privacy.

The hosts were always smiling, kind, cheerful and happy to help and answer every question we had. From the very first moment they made us feel welcome and at ease.

The location is wonderful too. The house sits in a quiet, beautiful spot in the middle of nature, offering peace and relaxation, while being very close to the village, so everything you need is within easy reach.

A truly wonderful stay that we would choose again without a second thought! We recommend it wholeheartedly!

Το δωμάτιο ήταν ολοκαίνουργιο, πεντακάθαρο και πλήρως εξοπλισμένο, με πολύ όμορφους και προσεγμένους χώρους. Το ότι είναι δίχωρο το κάνει ιδανικό για οικογένειες με παιδιά, ακόμη και με εφήβους, καθώς προσφέρει άνεση και την απαραίτητη ιδιωτικότητα.

Οι οικοδεσπότες ήταν πάντα χαμογελαστοί, ευγενικοί, πρόσχαροι και πρόθυμοι να βοηθήσουν και να απαντήσουν σε κάθε ερώτηση ή απορία μας. Από την πρώτη στιγμή μας έκαναν να νιώσουμε πολύ όμορφα και άνετα.

Η τοποθεσία είναι επίσης υπέροχη. Το σπίτι βρίσκεται σε ένα ήσυχο και όμορφο σημείο, μέσα στη φύση, προσφέροντας ηρεμία και χαλάρωση, ενώ ταυτόχρονα βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στο χωριό, οπότε υπάρχει εύκολη πρόσβαση σε ό,τι χρειαστείς.

Μια πραγματικά υπέροχη διαμονή που θα επιλέγαμε ξανά χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη! Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!

An exceptional owner. The house makes the most of every space and comfortably hosted the five of us. Everything is new and in excellent taste. A huge garden with tables, sun loungers and an outdoor shower with hot water. I recommend it without reservation.

Εξαιρετική η ιδιοκτήτρια. Το σπίτι εκμεταλλεύεται όλους τους χώρους και μας φιλοξένησε άνετα πέντε άτομα. Όλα καινούργια και με πολύ γούστο. Τεράστια αυλή, με τραπέζια, ξαπλώστρες και εξωτερική ντουζιέρα με ζεστό νερό. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα.
